Our Story
What is hub youth cycling?
Hub Youth Cycling provides community events that promote Health, Service, and Education.
We are not a race organization, but rather a community of youth, coaches, and volunteers who are joined together by a love of bicycling. Our goal is to provide a year-round opportunity for youth development with regular coach-led bike rides, supported bike event participation, structured community service projects, and meaningful educational experiences.
MEET CAYCE
Founder and President of Hub Youth Cycling
“From early childhood, the bicycle has been a powerful tool that has provided me with experiences that helped develop and strengthen every aspect of my life. Over years of parenting, competitive cycling, and youth coaching, I have encountered a community of successful adults that share this commonality. Hub Youth Cycling was passionately founded to provide youth with our collective experiences with the goal of enhancing their life journey…one ride at a time.”
Cayce Tiesler
Cayce has a long history of community service by serving on non-profit boards, coaching soccer teams, and active support of Boy Scout Troops. With his wife Beth of 31 years and two sons Patrick and Kyle, he is a devoted family man with a passion for youth development through cycling.
What we are about…
CYCLING FOR HEALTH
Bicycling with caring coaches and supportive teammates is good for the mind and body. Hub Youth Cycling members will have fun on their bike while they push themselves to reach their personal goals. Whether the ride be a technical loop on a mountain bike or a chill road ride, it will be an experience that will benefit our riders. Hub Youth Cycling promotes a lifelong love of exercise and a healthy lifestyle while using the bike as a tool.
Character through service
We are committed to shaping well-rounded humans. Our members will engage in public service opportunities. They will develop a sense of responsibility for the health of their community.
EDUCATION THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Beyond the pedals, we believe in the importance of education. Hub Youth Cycling offers job shadowing opportunities, college visits, and hands-on educational experiences to promote personal growth.
